Brooklyn Island Brooklyn Island is a piano/synth-pop solo project created by Josh Dahl (Minneapolis MN). Brooklyn Island is well known for the original remake/cover of Crowded House's ("Don't Dream It's Over" ). Brooklyn Island Released the debut EP Album ("Restoration" ) on June 12, 2012 to Digital Distribution. Brooklyn Island's first full length LP is expected to debut near September 2015. A sampler of the album was leaked on their Sound Cloud site June 30, 2015.
